BLOODMONEY Requiem Tools & Items Tier List
Every multiplier has a conscience cost—rank gear before you buy the next upgrade.
Spoiler and content warning
This page ranks the remastered shop ladder from BLOODMONEY! as carried into BLOODMONEY: Requiem (Steam, September 15, 2026). It names late weapons and ending locks. Expect gore talk and a reminder about flashing lights. Exact dollar thresholds can shift slightly in the remake—verify with Items Shop if a number feels off.
Ranking axes
Each tool gets two mental scores:
- Moral tier — how safe it is if you want Good Ending energy.
- Speed tier — how hard it pushes income toward $25,000 (or a cruel cashout).
A tool can be S on one axis and D on the other. That tension is the game.
S tier
Feather (moral S / speed B)
The feather is the conscience cornerstone. It doubles early income with comic “tickles” instead of open mutilation. Good Ending planning almost always revolves around living on feather-level harm (sometimes with carefully limited early needles or hammers depending on the exact remaster gate). If your goal is a clean farewell wave from Harvey, treat the feather as mandatory identity, not a starter trap.
Why S: Best ratio of progress to retained humanity. Watch-outs: You will click a lot. Patience is the real price.
Bare click / no upgrade (moral S / speed D)
Technically not a shop item, but it belongs on the list. Pure clicking without escalation is the purest mercy route and the slowest. Use it for roleplay or for segments before the shop opens. Once the shop exists, most merciful runners still buy the feather because it preserves tone while cutting the grind.
A tier
Needle (moral B / speed A-)
The needle is the first honest pain spike. Harvey flinches; dialogue tightens; money jumps. Some Good Ending writeups historically allowed needle or even hammer within a light-tool cap—do not assume every remaster build is identical. If you are chasing mercy, buy the needle only after reading All Endings for the current allowed set.
Why A for speed: Meaningful multiplier without jumping straight to disfigurement tools. Why not moral S: You are already choosing harm for convenience.
Hammer (moral C+ / speed A)
The hammer sits on the knife-edge between “still recoverable” and “you are touring Normal Ending territory.” It hurts, it pays, and it teaches players that pastel art will not save them from their shopping cart. Speed runners love it; mercy runners should side-eye it.
B tier
Scissors (moral D+ / speed A)
Scissors mark the disfigurement tier. Visuals and voice lines get uglier; endings skew away from Good. Keep scissors for Normal Ending documentation runs or for creators who need mid-ladder footage. If you bought scissors “just to see,” accept that you may have spent your mercy attempt.
Match (moral D / speed A)
Same neighborhood as scissors: high cash, high cruelty, strong story tension. Useful when you intentionally route toward mixed consequences. Poor choice for a first emotional playthrough if you hoped to stay kind.
C tier
Knife (moral F / speed S-)
The knife is late-ladder commitment. Dialogue often turns bitter or mocking; the fiction stops pretending this is a quirky side hustle. Speed is excellent. Moral score collapses. Pair knife runs with Ending Paths so you know whether you are aiming at Normal versus Bad.
D tier (specialist / trap)
Gun and equivalent finale weapons (moral F / speed S for Bad routes)
Lethal checkout tools exist to force the darkest booth ending and the biggest ugly payouts. They are “high tier” only if your checklist says see the Bad Ending on purpose. For every other goal they are traps: one purchase can erase a mercy attempt you spent twenty minutes protecting.
Creator note: If you showcase the gun, lead with gore and flashing-light warnings. Harvey’s suffering is the point of the scene, not a joke thumbnail.
Practical loadout sheets
Mercy main
- Open the shop when Harvey offers it.
- Buy feather; live there.
- Avoid scissors and below.
- Confirm light-tool caps on Good Ending before adding needle or hammer.
- Stop at $25,000; do not window-shop the gun “for later.”
Normal Ending survey
- Climb through mid tools (scissors / match / knife neighborhood).
- Do not check out the lethal finale if you still want Normal.
- Track dialogue shifts so you know when the game has reclassified you.
Bad Ending showcase
- Accept full escalation.
- Buy the finale weapon when the route demands it.
- Expect the story to judge you; that judgment is the content.
Requiem campaign note
Campaign-exclusive items, if any differ from the booth ladder, stay unranked until confirmed. Do not import random itch.io fangame gear into this list. When new tools appear in patches, we will extend the tiers and link What’s New.

Method notes
Ranks prioritize the Steam remaster’s booth fantasy: cute presentation, ugly incentives. Community click counts from 2025 remain directional. If Requiem retunes a multiplier, moral relative order usually stays stable even when absolute times change—feather still forgives, gun still condemns.
Play the build you own. If your shop order differs, trust the in-game inventory screen, then send corrections after you screenshot the discrepancy. Launch-week wikis should rather under-claim than invent a fake meta.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about endings, tools, and the Requiem remake.
What is the best tool for the Good Ending?
The feather is the safest core tool. Some routes historically allowed limited early pain tools—verify the current remaster rules on the Good Ending guide before buying needle or hammer.
Why is the gun ranked D overall?
Because most players open this page wanting balanced advice. The gun is S tier only for intentional Bad Ending runs and F tier for mercy goals, so it sits in a specialist D band on the combined list.
Do tool ranks change in the Requiem campaign?
Booth tool morality is stable. Campaign-only gear stays provisional until players finish mapping Requiem-exclusive routes.
Should speedrunners skip the feather?
Usually no—the feather is still an efficient early multiplier. Speedrunners skip staying on the feather, not buying it.
Where are full unlock thresholds?
See the Items Shop guide and Ending Path Planner. This tier list ranks tradeoffs instead of duplicating every click breakpoint.
